Project Description:
As the Electrical Contractor to Hoy Construction, Bay Electric Co., Inc. was awarded this contract in 2014 for the electrical configuration renovations to the Law Building, downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Timing and correct phasing was of the utmost importance in this project. It was Bay’s responsibility to establish, implement and execute a practical, sound and effective plan for the prevention of incidents, including all applicable rules and regulations promulgated by OSHA. This 100 year old structure, once filled with offices, formerly called The Law Building, then the Trader Publishing Building is now home to luxurious apartments and renamed, again, The Law Building. Seven stories rise above the Norfolk skyline providing downtown views, while retail and restaurants guarantee a convenient lifestyle. Bay Electric was responsible for the complete electrical infrastructure of the building.
